Goldsmiths University of London 2025 International Response Scholarship: Fully Funded for Refugee

Goldsmiths, University of London, has announced the opening of applications for its 2025 International Response Scholarship, a fully funded opportunity designed to support international students pursuing undergraduate and master’s degrees. This initiative reflects Goldsmiths’ commitment to fostering global academic talent and providing educational access to individuals affected by international crises.

Scholarship Overview

The International Response Scholarship offers comprehensive financial support, including:

  • Tuition Fee Waiver: Full coverage of tuition fees for the duration of the program.
  • Annual Allowance: A stipend of £8,825 per year to assist with living expenses.
  • Accommodation Support: Provision of a single study bedroom in Goldsmiths halls of residence or an equivalent allowance of up to £200 per week for external accommodation.

These benefits aim to alleviate financial barriers, enabling scholars to focus entirely on their academic and personal development.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Residency Status: Hold refugee status in the UK or have an active asylum application. Ukrainian applicants seeking refuge under the Home Office’s special arrangement are also eligible.
  • Academic Offer: Secure an offer of admission for a full-time undergraduate or taught postgraduate program at Goldsmiths, commencing in September 2025.
  • Study Eligibility: Be authorized to study in the UK, with no restrictions on Immigration Bail that would prohibit academic enrollment.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to their chosen field of study.

Application Process

Selection Process

A dedicated panel comprising representatives from Admissions, Widening Participation, and the Immigration Advisory Service will assess applications. The evaluation focuses on academic merit and the applicant’s responses to specific questions in the application form.
